Cruise For A Cause 4 May 26, 2005
Having had four cruises to-date we thought it was about time we incuded a picture of the crew – so, here they are. And, as usual, they did a splendid job. Despite the good weather, the number of guests was down on last year, for reasons we have yet to figure out! With a bit of luck, we’ll do that before the next cruise out of Oakville on September 8. Needless to say, there was plenty of food to go round and lots of prizes to be won; not to mention a host of silent auction items to choose from. As usual, guests were treated to hors d’oevre and oysters on the pier prior to departure. There were even chocolate covered strawberries on the pier after the cruise!

Barbara Turnbull graciously accepted an invitation to “come aboard” as our guest of honour. Also on-hand was Oakville’s MPP, Kevin Flynn, and Tim Peterson, MPP Mississauga South and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Tourism and Recreation. We were also delighted to welcome many of our loyal supporters from the boating fraternity, and several guests who have been on all of our cruises. To everyone, a sincere “Thank You.”
